Evan Sherman Big Band will be taking the stage on Wednesday, March 18th at 7:30pm. This 16 member band is one of our biggest and consists of some of the best musicians in New York City. The musicians vary creating a blend of upcoming talent intermingled with the established elder statesmen of the industry. Regular members have included: Frank Lacy (trombone/vocals), Ben Wolfe (bass), Lew Soloff, James Zollar, Bruce Harris, Alphonso Horne (trumpet), Jerry Dodgion, Patrick Bartley, Godwin Louis, Jerry Weldon (sax). They are frequently visited by guests such as Jon Batiste, Roy Hargrove, Johnny O’Neal and Cyrus Chestnut. A big band puts on a big performance, this is an act you won’t want to miss.
