Based in New York City since 2003, Jason Marshall has made a name for himself as a premiere baritone saxophone of the bebop tradition. That has not stopped him from using his musicality and curiosity to perform a multitude of styles of music on multiple reed instruments. His composing, arranging, and playing encompasses the joy and depth of Black American Music.

Since the early 2000’s Jason has performed with his own ensemble, the Roy Hargrove Big Band, RH Factor, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Chaka Khan, and a multitude of other internationally known musicians as well as the masters in New York City.
